The DALI SUB V-16 F is DALI’s flagship subwoofer, engineered to deliver the ultimate low-frequency performance for high-end home cinema and serious two-channel music systems.

At its heart is a custom-developed 16-inch long-throw driver, powered by an enormous 1,500 watts of DSP-controlled amplification. Designed for exceptional output with remarkably low distortion, the SUB V-16 F delivers deep, powerful bass while maintaining the speed, definition and subtle detail that discerning listeners expect from a DALI system.

Its advanced 70 mm peak-to-peak driver excursion and Constant Surface Surround (CSS) technology provide highly linear movement and outstanding control, helping the subwoofer reproduce everything from the delicate texture of a bass guitar to the full physical impact of a cinematic soundtrack with precision and authority.

The SUB V-16 F is also designed to integrate seamlessly with your main speakers. Its wide bandwidth, low-loss design and sophisticated DSP allow the subwoofer to extend the system’s low-frequency performance without overwhelming or colouring the crucial midrange.

For effortless system integration, the front-mounted control panel provides easy adjustment of volume, gain, phase and sound modes. DALI’s Continuous Flare Bass Reflex ports are tuned to an exceptionally low 18 Hz and designed to minimise turbulence, port noise and unwanted resonances, contributing to the subwoofer’s clean and controlled low-frequency performance.

CONTINUOUS FLARE BASS REFLEX PORTS

DIRECTING THE PERFORMANCE
DALI Continuous Flare port technology, first featured in the extraordinary DALI EPIKORE 11 ultra-high-end loudspeaker, features variable-diameter geometry throughout the length of the port to minimise port noise and turbulence, while maximising port linearity. The constant variation in diameter suppresses the formation of organ-pipe-like resonance modes that can afflict long reflex ports. It also helps to ensure laminar airflow is retained, even up to very high sound pressure levels. The reflex ports are tuned to an extremely low 18 Hz and adhere to DALI’s low-loss and low-distortion sound design principles.

THREE SOUND MODES
The V-16 F’s front-mounted panel offers three distinct sound profiles: Cinema mode, for LFE-channel audio in audiovisual and movie content that emphasises low-frequency bandwidth and impact – Music mode, for optimal low bass in music, focusing on bass dynamics and timing – and Boost mode, for those times when you want a little extra impact or explosive depth when listening to music or watching a movie.
