Optoma UHZ65 4K Projector

The Optoma UHZ65 is the first affordable 4k laser projector to come out in the market. The UHZ65 offers unforgettable 4K digital cinema quality images in the comfort of your own home. Laser technology provides accurate, true to life colour reproduction with 80% of DCI-P3 coverage – perfect for recreating the big-screen experience at home.

Packed with the latest technology and features, the stylish UHZ65 boasts High Dynamic Range (HDR) compatibility, HDCP 2.2 support and sophisticated PureMotion frame-interpolation processing which eliminates motion blurring or image judder.

What makes the Optoma UHD projectors superior to the Competition?
The Optoma UHD60 both use the new 4K UHD DMD chip  with 4 million micro mirrors.
By capitalising on the ultra fast switching speed of the DLP chips two pixels can be displayed per mirror. This allows the projector to display the full 8.3million pixels on screen. This is far superior to the E-shift or 4K enhanced features used on most machines.

This technology ensures all the information contained in an image is faithfully reproduced on the screen giving a stunning crystal clear, pin-sharp picture.

Vertical Lens Shift

Simplify installation with vertical lens shift, which provides a wider range of projector placement possibilities. This makes it easier to position the projector in your room and enables a wider range of screen size options.

SDR to HDR Conversion

Give your SDR content a second lease of life with SDR to HDR conversion. This unique feature lets you enjoy near-HDR content from any standard source – providing enhanced contrast, detail and colours to all SDR content.

Another advantage of 4K UHD DMD

1080p 4K enhanced projectors need to crossover the pixels to achieve a higher resolution. This causes Misalignment between pixels,  this is most apparent on sharp edges such as screen text and borders. Because the 4K DMD device produces two distinct pixels it is completely alignment free.
