Featuring a 5.25-inch wood fibre bass/midrange driver, dual passive radiators and DALI’s renowned 28mm ultra-light soft dome tweeter, the PHANTOM M-250 produces a detailed, balanced sound with impressive bass performance for its size. Natural vocals, accurate midrange reproduction and crisp, extended high frequencies ensure an engaging listening experience for both music and film.

Built around DALI’s low-loss driver technology and advanced Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC) motor system, the M-250 delivers low distortion, excellent dynamics and a natural sound signature that remains clean and controlled even at higher listening levels. Wide Dispersion technology provides consistent performance across a broad listening area, allowing everyone in the room to enjoy the same high-quality sound.

The integrated sealed enclosure removes the need for a separate back box, while the slim 100mm mounting depth allows for easy installation in both new-build and retrofit projects. The rotatable tweeter enables the speaker to be installed vertically or horizontally, making it equally suited for left, centre, right or surround channel duties in a home cinema system.

Developed with multichannel in mind

The PHANTOM M series lets you enjoy a high-quality audio performance from compact built-in speakers discreetly hidden away within your walls. The PHANTOM M-250 features proven technology, decades of experience and many of the qualities of our reference PHANTOM S series. The PHANTOM M-250 has been developed with multichannel audio in mind as a front, centre or surround speaker, but it also sounds amazing in a traditional stereo setup with or without a subwoofer.

OPTIMISED WOOFERS

Reproducing clean, detailed sound

The PHANTOM M-250 includes two 5¼” wood fibre woofers designed with a ‘flat’ cone geometry to increase the cabinet volume. All components in PHANTOM M drivers are assembled in-house and work together to reproduce clean, detailed sound with no colouration or unwanted distortion. The bass driver is optimised for long excursion, while the midrange driver is tuned to produce the maximum usable frequency for seamless handover to the bass and tweeter drivers.

OVERSIZED SOFT DOME

Producing higher volumes and handling

The 28 mm soft dome tweeter in the PHANTOM M-250 is manufactured in-house and is built for maximum dynamic response, great power handling and fantastic integration with the midrange frequencies. Made from an ultra-lightweight weave fabric, the oversized diaphragm enables the tweeter to generate higher volumes with less excursion. The larger diaphragm is also optimised for a larger bandwidth in the lower frequency area.

LOW-PROFILE CABINET

Extremely compact for an in-wall speaker

The PHANTOM M-250 and PHANTOM M-375 feature the same cabinet, including a shallow mounting depth of only 100 mm. To create the maximum possible inner volume for producing the low frequencies, the cabinet is manufactured from glass-reinforced ABS material. The front baffle and rim of the PHANTOM M-375 are matte-black lacquered, while the slim bezels of the magnetic and paintable front grille allow for an even more discreet installation.

REDUCING DISTORTION

DALI's patented SMC

The M-250 woofers feature a 25 mm voice coil with an iron/SMC composite pole piece – greatly reducing mechanical distortion caused by hysteresis and eddy currents. The result is a magnet motor system with a drastic reduction in third-order distortion, which translates to significantly improved bass control and reproduction of microdetails, as well as great transient capabilities. Resulting in a more satisfying and enjoyable musical experience.
